River Explorers

We're excited that our River Explorers trip is back for 2021! August 2-6, area students will enjoy exploring and camping along our beautiful Wild & Scenic Rivers, while building outdoor recreation skills and friendships.

Participants will enjoy a 5-day, 4-night trip down the Wild and Scenic Upper Missisquoi River, and will experience first-hand what makes this river special. Guided by Keith from Montgomery Adventures, participants will learn paddling skills, fishing techniques, wilderness ethics, fire-building, and develop other outdoor skills, all what exploring this amazing river.

  • Participants must be ages 11-14 at the time of the trip.

  • Registration is required and the trip is filling fast - don't delay!

  • Space is limited for this 5-day, 4-night river-camping trip, and VT COVID regulations will be followed (this may include a required negative test prior to the trip). 

  • Cost for the trip is $350.

  • A limited number of partial need-based scholarships are available:
