Join UMATR and Orleans County Forester Jared Nunery for an evening woodcock walk! This will be a beautiful evening of enjoying nature and looking for American woodcocks!

About The Event

Join Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers Wild & Scenic Committee and Orleans County Forester Jared Nunery for a brand new event! This will be an evening of walking through nature, making observations of what is around us, and looking for American woodcocks. Woodcocks, sometimes known as timberdoodles is a small shorebird species often found in Eastern North America. Woodcocks are masters of camouflage so come ready to look and learn!


The location of this event is in Jay at Missisquoi River Basin Association's nursery in Jay. Parking can be done on site. Please follow the UMATR event signs to guide you to the property. Wear long pants , outdoor shoes and bring water. We can't wait to see you!
