Big Falls is one of the largest undammed waterfalls in VT - join us to explore the woods and swimming holes at it's base!

About The Event
This community gathering will highlight Big Falls with games and fun. The overlook of the waterfall is stunning, but so is the area downstream of the falls, including a large family-friendly swimming hole, the rock-scramble access that enables you to get a beautiful view from below the falls, and a great field for gathering in. Our schedule of events will include a guided bird walk with the Bird Diva Bridget Butler, a forest ecology walk with VT Fish and Wildlife biologist Noel Dodge, an exploration of aquatic insects with "Mr. K" Kurt Valenta, and more! Activities will include a tree climbing adventure and other rope skills with Lynx Mountain Guides, paddle stroke lessons with a chance to try your skills with a canoe in the swimming hole, a make-your-own "stained-glass" river activity, and more!
