March 20th - River bank stabilization and river dynamics with Dr. John Field

In the final segment of the 2025 online speaker series Dr. John Field will be presenting on riverbank stabilization and river dynamics. President of Field Geology Services, LLC Dr. Field received a PhD from the University of Arizona in 1994 with concentrations in fluvial geomorphology and hydrology. Dr. Field was a professor for eight years and received excellence in teaching awards from the Geological Society of America and Western Washington University. His research on flood hazards and habitat issues in Arizona, Washington State, and New England has been published in numerous scientific publications and presented at professional meetings throughout the United States and Canada.
