Join UMATR and our paddling partners at NEK Guides for a canoe paddle lesson along the Upper Missisquoi starting at the Eddy Park in Troy along flatwater back to North Troy.

About The Event
Join us for a canoe paddle instruction class where we welcome all abilities to join us to get out on the river. We will be paddling a section of the Upper Missisquoi that is exclusively flatwater starting from the Big Falls Eddy park off of River Rd. NEK Guides will teach us about the basics of canoe paddling including some introductory strokes, how to read the river as you paddle, and whatever questions come up! Classes are at the pace and wants of attendees.
This event is open to all ability levels - come learn canoe for the first time, or expand upon your skills! Children over the age of 10 are welcome to attend. Canoes are available for participants if needed. Please be aware that this is a canoe focused instruction.
