The Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers provide us with great opportunities to enjoy our landscape and our communities all year long! Check out the events that our Wild & Scenic Committee will be hosting along our rivers this year.
Summer Days on the River

This summer, youths (ages 9-15) can enjoy 

a free guided day trip along our beautiful

Wild & Scenic Rivers - several dates and options available.

 

Reservations required; to sign up, click on your trip date and location of choice; please contact us with questions.

Drop off at the put-in (see each trip for details) between 8 & 8:30am; pick-up at the take-out at 3pm.

Limit of 6 participants per trip; hand sanitizer and masks will be provided; each participant will be socially distant in their own kayak (members of the same household may share a canoe if preferred). 

Bagged lunch will be provided.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

A separate registration is required for each participant.

Limit of 2 trips per participant

(may request to be wait-listed for additional trips).

    We are excited to be back for another year of helping the amphibians cross the road! We will host our 2026 Salamander Night Patrol on a warm, rainy night sometime during March-April.
